To find the optimum solution you must first ask the right questions
Our Mission: To optimise our clients' outcome through the relentless application of our skills and resources.

The highly experienced design team at 4Site has a proud and proven track record of delivering creative, cost-effective and 'easy to build' project solutions for simple and complex projects. Be it a custom dream home, or a fast-tracked, time and hygiene critical dairy processing facility.

We enjoy collaborating with Clients, Architects & Builders and believe it's essential to initially seek out and understand our clients project goals, to then effectively design and document the optimum "time-quality-cost" solution for their project.

John Horton

John has over 25 years' experience as a structural and civil engineer since completing his Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil) at Monash. University.

John started his own practice, John Horton Engineering Group in 1991.

In 2004 the practice merged with TGM group. John became a major shareholder, Director and the Manager of TGM's Melbourne office. In 2006 John became the Executive Manager of the structural division responsible for a team of approximately 30 Engineers and draftspersons located across three offices.

Johns operational role was that of Major Projects Manager, where his project design & optimisation skill could best serve the companies key clients. Along with many other projects John was responsible for the delivery of two $50+ Million Dairy processing facilities. As the acting Principal consultant John put together a team of sub consultants (Building Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Mechanical, Electrical, Traffic, Acoustic & Fire Engineers) and oversaw the complete design & documentation of the building and civil works components of these projects. Both of these fast track projects were delivered on time and under budget.

In July 2011 John resigned from TGM Group, and after travelling around Australia with his family, returned to re-establish his original Practice where he continues to seek new challenges and provide the very best Project management, Structural and Civil Engineering design services for the benefit of his clients.

Johns pride, passion, and skill as a project Manager and design Engineer is evident by the quality of John's clients, and projects with which he has been involved. Many of these projects have received recognition in the way of various State and or National awards.

Haydn Morrell

Haydn completed his Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil) at Ballarat University in 2007, where he won awards from the Institute of Engineers Australia and the Australian Steel Institute for outstanding results. He then completed his Master of Civil Engineering Science whilst working full time at TGM Group. He spent 10 months at Meinhardt before returning to TGM Group as a Major Projects Engineer. In March 2013 Haydn left TGM Group to work for himself, and joined with John, Armin and James to form 4Site Engineers in Jan 2014.

Haydn has experience managing a wide range of projects, from small residential through to large dairy or industrial projects. He works closely with architects and builders to ensure the most efficient design is documented from the start of the project, with a major focus on solving any potential issues before they become a problem on site. Haydn understands that time is critical, and strives to provide swift responses to ensure the project can keep moving throughout all stages of design and construction.

Armin Ghamami

Armin has more than 8 years of engineering experience, with particular expertise in structural design and construction supervision and management. In July 2013 Armin left TGM to start his own company DIACO. He then joined John, Haydn and James and became one of the four to lay the foundations of 4 Site Engineers.

Armin worked with TGM Group (2008 - 2013) during which time he developed his design and management skills. He has worked closely with architects, process engineers, service engineers and builders to ensure delivery of the most efficient design. Responsible for implementing quality assurance, part of IT committee and contribution to company strategic marketing. Armin was also responsible for coordination and project delivery to TGM's New Zealand based Partner Company, LHT Design Pty Ltd. Managing design team including engineers and drafts personnel, mentoring graduate members as well as working side by side with team members ensuring project delivery on time and budget.

A wide variety of projects undertaken both nationally and internationally have given Armin a broad base of structural knowledge enabling him to assess a variety of solutions prior to establishing efficient and easy to build solutions.
